That was certainly an entertaining half. Ghana has been playing their hearts out, and it seems like they were the aggressors. However, I was blown away by how effortless Brazil made it look when they scored. That first goal by Ronaldo was the equivalent of breaking someone's ankles in basketball with a devastating juke, it was beautiful. Brazil is probably going to win most certainly now, but I hope Ghana keeps playing like they have.

Wow. I only watched the last few minutes of the 1st hlf, but it was some incredible football. Lightning fast strikes, back and forth, back and forth, with the ball never remaining static in the midfield for long. It was some of the best football I've seen in this World Cup, and almost certainly the knockout stages. I just hope it doesn't slow down in the next half!

I'm not sure about my favourite for the title right now...

Great game from Ghana, they really deserved better. If that chance after the break hadn't resulted in a sending off, it could have been so different. It was hard to see what had happened, even in the replay we didn't get a good look. But my argument was just that there is absolutely no point diving when you're on the inner edge of the box, ball in front of you, with nothing ahead but the keeper. Almost guaranteed goal. So I was pretty sure it was a penalty, but with the replay it looked like he just fell over himself. But had that gone differently, the goal difference would have been one, instead of it being three a few minutes later. Could have been a whole different game.

Watched France Spain in a new Spanish bar round the corner, good atmosphere, but I couldn't help thinking that Spain were never gonna take it. Even when they were ahead, France just looked that little bit hungrier. Which is what was missing from their game in the last world cup. We were seriously shocked when Henry was replaced by Wiltord. They were only 2-1 up at the time, and if the game had gone into extra time, that could have been a serious hiccup. As it was, good old Viera managed to fumble one in, and now we get to see France Brazil, which should certainly be entertaining.

I want Germany to win against Argentina, personally. I'd like to see it come down to Germany and England for the final two. We could have another England-5, Germany-1 game. Unfortunately, England's been too relaxed in the last few games, and Micheal Owen's absense can't help. We can still hope though, heh.

By a country mile, hands down, far and away, and whatever other superlatives you want to use The only thing that FIFA has ever been better than PES at is the licenses, and you can edit the correct strips and stadium names into PES anyway. Even easier if you download an option file from the internet, but that requires a Max Drive.

We've got about as much chance as anybody at beating Portugal, although I suspect it'll be close, and the difference will come down to the absent players on both teams. England need to pick their game up. As much as I may hate it, I think Brazil are going to win the World Cup again. All the sides that I've wanted to go through (apart from England) have been knocked out
