I think only rock10l and rock11l, and maybe b_rock_bottom will be of any use to you, those are the best. Particularly, rock10l looks fantastic on canyon walls, since it has striations in it. Straight up 8-bit old school, made with MatMaster :awesome:

I've had a hard time finding good ones compatible with 06baron. I found a grass one in the massassi mat section, and the graphiticasomethingorotherilla texture packs there have some decent ones in them. The rock ones from emon are really cool, and once lighted using the lighter plugin, my cliffs area looks pretty good. The shadows make all the difference in that area.

That's hard to do as people wish to remain anonymous. We'll just have to wait for the thread to be reborn. If I were an editor, I'd probably contribute by making a space station. Unfortunately there are more pressing matters to be dealt with at the Finnish parliamentary building.

Fine. I'll post some screenshots.

Due to my old map having an awful layout and pretty blurry textures, I started a new one. High-resolution textures, better gameplay layout (yet to be tested) and is pretty much finished already. Nothing left to do but test it in MP and see if the weapon layout is good... and change the candle 3dos because they're kinda ugly. With this map being so quickly finished compared to my usual maps, I might make another one.

Noise is a combination of the ultra-high resolution brick texture and texture resizing.

Looks good! I don't think the candles look that bad although the shots don't give you a great view of them. That's a lot of ammo and stuff too. If it's a small level (which it looks like it may be) I would imagine people would die before they would have enough time to use their ammo and need to pick up more. On the same note if people are dying quickly it doesn't hurt to have too much ammo.

The level's covered in health and shield recharges. And no, it's not a small level. I'm not sure how many players would be good to play with, but I'm thinking somewhere between 8 - 16 players.

That looks (and feels, thanks for that *wink wink*) very good, Xzero, but the map you were working on before that might have been the best-looking JK map in all existence so I think it's a shame if you can't release it :)

But this competition is about gameplay anyway so I guess making a new map makes sense. *shrug*
