Yeh, she and the 3 argonians were the only ones to cause me problems in the arena.

If any of you are interested, i'm currently working on expanding the arena.

Release 1.0 will add a trainer that you can spar with and a new room or two (with more weapon types) in the bloodworks. (Should be out be the end of this weekend)

Release 2.0 will feature challengers to your title of Grand Champion (including that blue team dark elf that pissed when you kill agronak.

Release 3.0 will feature arenas in other cities.

You're speaking of the Orc with the glass hammer I assume? I remember it took me a couple of healing potions and shielding charms to beat that orc down. It was probably the 2nd toughest opponent I faced, with the first being the 3 argonians.

I just remember it was total crap that the Orc was able to take a full power/max recovery time swing at me, miss with it, and yet somehow block my counter slash with the hammer, strong enough to unbalance me and take another swing of full power, nailing me unshielded. Thats games for you.

I stopped having problems once I started getting the cool weapons. Except for with the Whisps. I hate those things. Takes all the charge out of one of my weapons just to kill one.

Oh no Jep. I'd say you wife to be shouldn't worry too bad about Oblivion taking over your life. But now you're starting to mod it? It's time to start worrying.

Both of us really just joke around, its not nearly so bad. Matter of fact I'm spending tonight and tomorrow with her. I wont even touch Oblivion. (wimpers)

This thread got me to play Morrowind (for the first time). Mmm. It's quite awesome. Will definetly get Oblivion when I'll have the hardware to run it.

These type of games really are fun to play. Its like an MMO with more involved quests and storylines, free, and without the annoying kids, idiots and nerds who run around saying "zomg I'll pay 5gold pieces to cyber!"

*whacks Snake* Carry a silver weapon around at all times! There is no reason to be using your enchanted stuff on wisps and ghosts.

I'm so happy with being in the Mage's Guild. I now have a ring with constant night eye on it and two of my armor pieces have Feather on them. Strangely, I still only have a hundred encumberance free, so I usually only pick up enchanted items to sell. But hell, I have enough money anyway.

Wisps have got to be the only enemy that I can't stealth kill, damn glowing balls of fluff... At least with detect life I can always see them and avoid them.

*blink* Avoid them? I could be saying this because I'm a Combat/Stealth hybrid....but why aren't you running up and whacking the **** out it? Wisps cause some damage, but crumple after a few hits.

Well, let's see...

1. They're flippin' everywhere
2. They stop me being stealthy, I like being stealthy
3. The stuff they drop is only useful for a couple of things and I have plenty of it already
4. I favour the bow over the blade and whisps move too quickly when you're not standing right next to them.

They are part of my favourite trick though, getting monsters to kill people I need to be dead. In the Dark Brotherhood only a handful of my kills were actually done by me, the rest were nice setups. My favourite being "I killed your mother", thus getting a guy to attack me whilst a guard was standing nearby.

FRAPS can do it.

But it's infinately easier to do the config edit :p

I dunno about that. Fraps is pretty easy to configure and it does any 3d accellerated game.

Oh, you misunderstood me. Modding the .ini doesn't cause errors, its the drawdistance tweak that causes it. You can definatly set allowscreenshot to 1 without fear of bugs.

I think, since I finished the thieves guild, I'm going to go finish every little minor quest I have left.

Then do Dark Brotherhood. And while I'm doing that, hit up all the daedric shrines I can find.

That one shrine, tells me I need to be ugly. Do you think I could just.. not feed for several weeks and then rock up there?

Good question, I've been trying different characters so i,m actually not very far into the game. Albeit now I moving on now that I decided which character to play.

That means it wants you to decrease your Personality. The easiest way to is buy about three Cheap Ales(or was it Wines?) and drink them all right before talking to the statue(assuming your Personality is below 40 or so to begin with). The mission you get from that statue is very fun, for those of us with sick senses of humor.

SPOILER

The last mages quest has you kill the king of Worms, Mannimarco. I got his staff once i killed him, and on target it reanimates for 30 seconds. Meaning, a dead person comes back to life for 30 seconds. I thought it was useless until my horse died in the wild after I mis-threw a lightning bolt. I reanimated its corpse and rode it to my destination. It was awesome.

NOOOOOOO!

I was trying to do the quest with the warring Goblins. I was level 19, done a lot of the Daedra shrines, and I was getting deep into the Mage Guild quests. Then I try to enter one of the Goblin caves and it kicks me from the game. I try it again and it happens again. I now try to load the autosave, because it seemed to have gotten inside...Save File Corrupted. Well, I try my manual save again...and it gets about half way loaded before losing its lunch. Dear God, why?! I was 50+ hours into it! Damn you! *weeps*

Heh, I made a new character then maxed out all the states using the console. I'll say this, running down deer and beating them to death is a lot more satisfying than it may sound.

He uses it to test the beta multiplayer experience. And you can only test it with Al Gore.

Glyde, get the FaceGen Demo. Thats what the game use, but its only for faces, no hair or body. And the actual FaceGen has more features, like numeric input while oblivion only has sliders.

Hair style : about 8 types per race, you can control the length of most of them with the Length slider.

Hair color : are RGB sliders.

No breasts sliders :(

You could always get the mod that unlocks all hair styles on all races. Some clipping may occur.
