I spent roughly two weeks there, getting all that BS mandatory "Training". The rollover stuff, all the briefings about IED's, DUKE training. All the stuff that has absolutely no application in Baghdad. I mean, sure we hit IED's, but all that training goes right out the window when you're actually placed in that situation.


The only good part was the gymtime, 2-4 hours a day, and the chowhall where you could eat as much as you wanted. We loved that chowhall. Especially the idea of midnight chow, which was a new thing to me and all the other cherry guys in my platoon.

I haven't played that game in years. All of the cases are empty anyway because I use binders for the discs. I used to leave empty ones laying around to distract him.
