I've totally been a bum, actually.

By which I mean, after four years of college I was totally broke and needed more money to go obsessively back to college cos I'm a megadork like that.

So I've been all boring working-man for the last year or so again.

Last year I had a job with an e-scrap reclaimation joint, where I was responsible for designing and building a giant netbooted secure data destruction subnet [named Ungoliant]. Unfortunately that fell through when my boss disappeared one day with a 250K$ bond against him-- but not before I cleverly backed up all of my procedures and code to my own server.

This year I've been working with http://coloradovnet.com/ doing contract QA for them. Basically breaking/exploiting all their software/hardware and trying to make them care enough to make it less easily breakable next time. Some days it's diabolicious, other days they make me cry at bug review meetings.

When I haven't been working, I spend a decent spell in WoW on Sen'jin, <Of the Whale> ftw.

Alternately I have found myself spending time with people, or rather select Persons [those unopposed to living in a cave, and hissing and skulking into the shadows at the sight of the unwashed masses].
