That's weird. I'm a bit overweight and they don't bother me. Maybe you haven't had one with a good fit?

For casual wear I use those woven cotton belts that often come with khaki shorts. The kind with two D loops as the buckle. The lack of a solid locking mechanism makes them comfortable and flexible.

I actually find those d-loop buckle things quite uncomfy, but leather belts are great. :P

I agree that I hate wearing ties though.

The problem is when using belt for their intended function of holding up trousers, they tend to crease up and distort the waistline which causes the disconfort. The only times belts are comfortable is when you don't actually need to wear them, ie your trousers keep themselves up.

This means you are buying/commissioning your trousers with too large of a waistline. Belts are mainly for show or a little tightening nowadays.

I just found this on an old disc.

A wallpaper of my old band, Ignorant Vibes, back in 2001. We did a lot of slip knot and mudvayne covers. We made our own masks (yes they are completely horrendous and cheap :P). I was 17 at the time. I'm the drummer with wierd goalee, dreadlock mask and fubu shirt (lol).

So many memories XD
