As for the facial hair, it should grow out some more, but it's unfortunately a very slow process. I do my best to keep it trim and whatnot, though, and I will say that I think it looks better in person too. I just couldn't seem to take a very good picture of myself at the time.

ummm. I don't have facial hair. I'm in the military and I can't. Also, I have never had facial hair (with the exception of a deployment mustache (which had nothing to do with fashion. it's kind of tradition), a quarantine beard (no shaving for a week while stuck in a quarantined berthing with swine flu), and scruffy 1 or 2 day old weekend beard (which is by no means a concentrated effort to make facial hair).) I've also never posted pictures of me in those states. Are you thinking of someone else?
