A little from column A, a little from column B. :D . The caps do affect the bounce somewhat. Some caps didn't fit exactly, so they were bent. Those are the ones to worry about. Otherwise they don't affect it much. We're thinking of putting a sheet of plexiglass on, since spilt liquid seems to erode the glue, and destroy the table. It will be expensive, but possibly worth it.

it's a peavey generation custom with ACM acoustic modeling. copy of a telecaster body.

it's decent, i already modded the **** out of it in just two weeks though, new pickups, added another input jack to bypass the ACM for heavy metal tones, split parallel series for the bridge pickup. i'm working on maybe changing the neck too.

but that's be, it was a well built guitar out of the box, except i have this obsession to mess with my guitars.

Oh, that was not at all what I thought it was.

I am quite familar with that obsession. Although I'm poor so I don't get to indulge it much.
Here's a pic of me and mine. An Epiphone Les Paul ES. I traded the pickups for Gibsons and changed the volumes for push/pull for series/parallel.
