Just get Mexican pepsi or Kosher pepsi.

Yeah, I much prefer the taste of real sugar to the taste of corn syrup.

I hate how they have MTN DEW now.
MTN .. WTF
2009-04-28, 5:03 PM #646
Either thats subtle sarcastic irony or you are really dumb.
2009-04-28, 5:08 PM #647
How, exactly, does thinking changing mountain to mtn make me dumb?
2009-04-28, 5:08 PM #648
MTN isnt an acronym. its an abbreviation.

Baconfish piqued my interest in the chat. I ordered 6 bottles.

... Yes, thank you for pointing out the obvious.
It was changed from mountain to mtn. I realize it's the same product and same 'word'.

I think it's really lame.

It's not too bad. The camera mount was possible a little loose in the video I linked to, which probably didn't help.

not really a purchase but i finally took the tour of LST-325... it's only been here for about 4 years and for some reason i never got around to it

also saw this on clearance for $5 (the local k-mart is awesome for clearance prices) and that part of me that loves painfully generic first person shooters with bad voice acting could not resist... though why a k-mart in kentucky would have a canadian version of the game (text on back in english and french and includes english and french manuals) confuses me

On the top:
Lately I've been really getting into collecting games for my vintage consoles right now, in the last two weeks I've bought these games,
Dreamcast: Fur Fighters, Sonic Adventure 1, Soul Calibur
SNES: Donkey Kong Country 1, Donkey Kong Country 2, Tetris Attack, and Dr. Mario & Tetris combo.

On the bottom:
This isn't so much a recent purchase, as I bought it last June, but I still kind of wanted to show it off:
It's a DPMS Panther Lo-Pro Classic, with a 16" Bull Barrell, Flat Top Rail, Solid Stock, and EoTech556 Dot-Sight. Pretty much a Zombie-killer.

Thanks to these my old Toshiba is now alive again and a fully functioning OSx86 machine :awesome:

(The replacement keyboard is sorta mushy / flexy ... but whatever. I'll live. And yes, they did ship that incredibly ugly HQRP mousepad with it.)

I haven't used it much yet so I can't really say much about picture quality, but it feels very solid and the auto/manual focus switch is very conveniently done.

It's much smaller than the equivalent Canon lens as well (my brother has Canon stuff), I'm a Nikon owner myself and I have to say that the Canons don't feel very solid or robust. The Tokina lens feels quite close to Nikon in terms of weight and texture.

The fact that it's 11-16mm f/2.8 also means it's the most wide-angle lens you're going to get before hitting the crazy prices.

I really enjoyed it ....
Good special effects, action. I'm not on the Bale hate bandwagon so he didn't bother me either.

I'd recommend it to everyone. I'm probably going to go see it again today because I'm sure I missed some stuff.

Pays good tribute to the show with the intro theme music. And of course it has the one liners from the movies.
