Obviously the graphics are a little old now, but it's still a really fun, challenging game to play. The story and world are just incredible, much greater than Myst.

It's an i7-5960X, if you cant read it. Also I didn't actually pay quite as much as the price tag suggests. Microcenter has them for $899 + tax.

So new AMA about my new computer post will be coming in a few weeks time. But to answer in advance: Yes it's massive overkill. TF2 is gonna play great. :)

Tron 2.0 (9.99 EUR) @ Steam

Possibly my last game purchases in a long time, I think I'll refrain from the whole "ooh this looks nice/it's on sale" thing until ME4 or something is released.

Try it out yet? Thoughts so far?

I heard it runs well on PCs and isn't a shoddy port job.

Played it for an hour on Monday, seems to have the atmosphere nailed. Maybe a bit too streamlined game mechanics, yet I haven't got to the stealth parts yet. In typical FGR style, I even got lost for 25 minutes due to not realizing how to operate on the in-game computer screens. Woo! Should play more of it on the weekend.

Yeah, it runs without any hitches (thus far) on my rig. Hell, it's even the first game ever to immediately have the max settings enabled on my computer.
