Dear Lord, never gonna buy a game from EA ever again...

1. I want to buy BF3 with all the expansion packs. I go to BF3 website, see, AHA, there's BF3: Premium available for $50. Also something called BF3: Premium Edition for $60, figure it includes the expansion pack that's not out yet, download Origin, buy BF3: Premium. I get charged 50 EUROS. Not USD, but EUROS, that's $67. But OK, I really wanna play the game, so **** it. I wait. No game. WTF. Talk to Customer Support, ask, hey, guy, did I buy the right thing? Did I buy the actual game? Customer Support guy: I can confirm you bought Battlefield: Premium and should have the game. Me: whew. Time passes. No game. I do some reading, figure Customer Support guy didn't know what he's talking about, go to Customer Support again, talk to a different agent. They say, nope, you bought expansions only. That's 5 (1 unreleased) expansions for $67. Also, WTF, why do us Europeans have to pays ****load more than Americans if we buy via Origin? Mmm. Anyhow, I ask, can you cancel the order? Nope. Mmmkay, by law I'm entitled to refund within 19 days, no questions asked. Oh, OK, well, you can withdraw and not cancel, and we'll give you a refund. Mmmkay.

2. I go to a brick & mortar store today and buy the game (BF3: PREMIUM EDITION) for $50. Insert DVD, doesn't read. Still downloading from Origin via the serial key in the box.

And people said I was overreacting when I *****ed about EA and Origin.

EA is horrible stop supporting them by buying dumb **** like BF3 premium.

This awesome thing, kinda spur of the moment... And something for the wife-to-be... Also, I put money down on a pre-order for Infinite.

Whatever happened to that guy, he was fun to piss off.

Yep this **** is why I'm boycotting EA. I don't buy EA games, I don't play EA games. I wouldn't even pirate them. If EA is involved I won't touch it. Period. They are the worst company on earth.

Yeah. I used to talk to him on AIM quite often. He tried to convince me that he didn't actually do drugs, he just muled them. Then he asked if I could loan him money to get his car fixed.

God dammit. I don't want to go into that **** again. Let's just say EA charged me twice for the Mass Effect 3 collector's edition. Once the day I preordered it, and once the day it came out. My bank account was low on funds that day, and it sent me into the negative. I tried to resolve the issue, but EA said their system was having trouble the day I ordered it, and they didn't have any record of charging me anything that day, even though I bought three other games. I did a three way call with my bank and a cs rep from EA, and the bank rep essentially said that EA was using shady techniques to approve the second transaction, but they were technically allowed to do it because it was postdated or some **** like that. Since EA claimed to have no record of the transactions, my bank said there was nothing they could do about it.

It goes on and on, but it's basically just that same **** going in a circle.

This is the upcoming game that I'm most excited to play. I try not to pre-order stuff anymore, but I might bend my rule on this one.




I guess DJYoshi was having money problems even at the time he won my computer giveaway and was changing addresses frequently. He must have vacated the address he initially gave when I mailed it, so after a week the computer was returned to me. I contacted him again, he gave me a new address. I had to pay for shipping twice on that. So I had to laugh when I saw him post it for sale on hardocp.

I wasn't aware of that. Wow. Kinda hilarious, yeah.

Hmmm.. Is it just you using the Xbox or do you have any one else? Because they have that ridiculous family deal where you get four gold accounts for less than the price of two. Hell... You could even get that to have two accounts to be a complete a-hole on and/or just mess around.
