Bought a Das Keyboard Ultimate to replace my G15, which had a short (yes, I know Logitech probably would have sent me a new one.)

The keyboard is pretty damn heavy, and sits on these huge rubber pads so it can't slide around at all. The keys are pretty light compared to the G15, and I'm not 100% sure but it feels like 'pinky keys' are actually weighted differently than the others. The keys also have different heights and angles depending on their row, unlike most modern keyboards which are totally flat.

So far I like it. We'll see how I feel about it after a few weeks.

Wow I really like that keyboard, need to replace my G15 too. Works fine it just sucks as a keyboard.

Ich habe auch Das Keyboard! AKA Das Klickenmacher. It's from about 4 years ago though so they probably have newer ones. I love it so. And yes, they do weight different keys differently.

I recently bought:
- HTC Evo Shift to upgrade my aged Hero.
- A lease on a new apartment about half as far from work.
- The 15-book Owls of Ga'hoole series ^@\/@^
- The latest Kindle 3G
Also, I can kill you with my brain.

Most recently, I bought a second Twix from the vending machine, because the first one became stuck on the dispenser spring. >_<

Other than that... mostly foam core, museum board, map board, and a couple short story anthologies: The Coyote Road (E. Datlow & T. Windling) and Brave New Worlds (J.J.Adams).

Today, the craft shoppe where I teach piano had a freebie pile they needed cleaned out. I grabbed up two small card catalogues in need of repair; I can use them to keep track of books I buy while at university. :P I've not really been keeping up on my stocks lately; I know I own over 930 books, but I've only catalogued 893 of them.
Umn-

-yeah, that wasn't a joke. My bedroom is a private semi-lending library.

yeah... see my ability to recognize new gadgets is hindered by the fact that my phone is from 2006, my pc is from 2004, heck even my current gen consoles are a few versions behind (my 360 is a non-hdmi model and both my PSP and PS3 are fat) and even my new TV is neither 3D or internet connected

You will. I've also waited long ass time to be a season ticket holder as well. I have 1/2 season (41 games) right now. If I lived closer to PETCO Park, I'd probably have done full season. But I live 30 mi north of the stadium so the drive back is a bit of a ***** esp. after night games.

This has been my facebook profile picture for a while. I bought the harness, rope, belay/rappel device, and several locking karabiners. I intend to use it to rappel off of some stuff for fun, and as a safety for climbing trees while hunting (don't know how well that will work out, but it's a thought. I hate stands.) Also, I might get into climbing, it seems fun. Haven't really decided yet. This summer I intend to rappel down a slightly higher ledge on a friends' property (this one is just 12-15 feet or so, for practice). That one is maybe....20-30 feet? Not sure, haven't been there in a while. Anyway, I just like ropes and ****.

I just got an LG super multi blue blu-ray drive for my computer (to play blu-rays that are region A only, as my ps3 only plays region b compatible blu-rays), because my dvd player died recently, and blu-ray drives (re-writeable compatible ones) have gotten realy cheap.

@DrkJediBob82: Division Bell I've owned for half of my life and I still listen to it regularly and can sing along with the entire album. Good choice.

@Estelore: You've got me beat, shamefully. I only have about 30 linear feet of books but they do constitute a very significant portion of what I own. What do you use to catalog them, just on card files??

My recent purchases:

Edit: the stuff in the bag is the finger and thumb picks and slide bar for the guitar, nothing unrelated.
Also, I can kill you with my brain.

Yeah, we don't have very much real rock here either. Not walls, anyway. Plus, most of the real rock, like what I'm standing on there, is sandstone that crumbles off if you put any weight on it. But we do have several gyms I know of, so maybe I will try that!

Ya know DrkJedi82, I used to think I had a pretty extensive album collection until I saw this thread. I'm curious to see what your collection looks like as a whole... I bet it covers a wall.
