LEGO circa early 90s. I always wanted these sets as a kid, and they will be here Wednesday.

I bought about 5 or 6 other ones, but they're small.

omg Space Police were my favorite! I had the ones you posted (I think I had them all..)
I also had all the Ice and Aqua ones. Those were my three favs.

Space Police were cool. The late 80's and early 90's LEGOs were the best. M tron and Blacktron rocked, too.

The instructions are long lost, and they are all mixed in giant bins off all the legos I've owned to my younger cousins.

the use of the word remastered bothers me a bit... all they did was bump the resolution (not even to 1080p from what i've read) and add trophies... all the models, textures, sounds, etc are the same

and it's a game not an audio recording or a film

While I agree it's not a complete remaster, I must say that it hasn't looked or played better. The game with no aliasing looks even more stunning, and the frame rate actually is noticeable to anybody who played through the first game a couple times and found those random spots of slowdown. And yes, only goes to 720p, but still looks pretty remarkable. I haven't tried GoW2 yet as I'm making my way through the first one, but it's supposed to look pretty amazing.

And Reid: Niiiiiiiiice, very frosty. Looks like some AK
