Recently dug up a vintage turntable and receiver, slowly fleshing out my vinyl collection. Nothing exceedingly rare or interesting, just some albums I like enough to purchase on an obsolete medium!

bah vinyl isn't all that obsolete... mainstream bands are still releasing vinyl (sadly using the same compressed masters as the CD)

now cassette tapes... if you are into metal or punk it's only a matter of time before you're seriously considering buying some cassette only releases

Impossible to tell, since the prices in finland are way higher than the ones in well let's say any other country.

I got mine for 3900e though :neckbeard:

More vinyl! The Shaft in Africa was only 4 bucks, easily worth 5 times that and has some excellent tunes, 'twas a good day.

Just buy Feather and don't bother with anything else.

Someone should do detailed analysis of various blades. I'm willing to bet any decent blade is more than sharp enough and the rest is placebo.

Except mine has the engraving on the receiver. Browning BPS 12ga 28" barrel, it's from 1991.

or i could possibly find something i like as much as feather that's cheaper

or hell i could be one of those rare people who end up not liking feather at all

That's what I don't get. How can you like a particular razor more than others? Aside from sharpness, I mean. I hear people saying "oh these felt smoother than those, even though those were probably sharper." What the hell does that mean? They are all built out of pretty much identical materials. Some are hones a little better and last long (like Feather), but other than that?

could it be that the skin on the face and neck (the areas these blades are being used on) can vary quite a bit from person to person
