You should encrypt your files if they are so sensitive. It only takes one disgruntled Dropbox employee to screw you over. But then you have to remember to store the key in a secure location.

Yeah, at one point I considered buying the revival version of the Korg MS-20 (due to using the MS-20 VST quite a lot), but I didn't since the real deal is monophonic only. Oy.

I'm the wrong person to answer those questions, Reid, but my top 3 favorite VSTs are pretty much Roland Cloud D-50, z3ta 2+ and KORG MS-20. And I'm still using Fruity Loops after 13 years. :P

Yeah, I do. I hate cloud subscriptions and their monthly fees. At least, for the moment anyway, after 12 months of monthly Roland subscribing you can claim one of the VSTs for good (so no more monthly fees). ... Still ends up cheaper than trying to get a real Roland D-50 and getting it to work and everything!

But yeah, there will be no more wacky FGR videos once Adobe pulls the plug for Creative Suite 5.1 for good, and they'd try to force me to use Adobe Cloud F***s***crap instead. No chance, Lance.

After about a month and a bunch of problems with Microsoft's ordering system, I finally got my Surface Book. I'm really enjoying it. :)
I can't wait for the day schools get the money they need, and the military has to hold bake sales to afford bombs.

True that.. music equipment is expensive. I'll consider picking up the Roland D-50 vst because.. well it's pretty iconic and, in the videos I found, it sounded very nice.

Did you know that there's a Deus Ex mod titled 2027, that started production in 2004 or so? And did you know that Deus Ex: Human Revolution (released in 2011) takes place in 2027?

I found a set of two Aisin locking hubs in a salvage yard and got them for $20. I also found a farm jack in the back of a wrecked truck and got it for $5. Gotta love wrecking yards.

Picked these items up at a local discount store (that I generally hate to go to).




Last I checked the cars toy retails for about $200 and the wheel setup for over $400.

I've ordered this shifter from Amazon to compliment the wheel.

The first time I actually got a deal out of Prime Day. A Nokia 6 2018 and a 128 GB micro SD card.

I know that there are cheaper phones with better specs (even with the discount). But so far HMD Global seems to do quite well with software updates, one of the things that annoyed me the most with Android devices. And this one is an Android One device, so hopefully this will make it even easier for them to keep up with updates.

Goddamn Fujitech UH3041 USB 3.0 hub, cost me about 13 euros and when I plug it into my computer - and my main external SSD into the hub - the hub will eventually disconnect at random (which usually shows up as the Windows Explorer window for the hard drive opening up), making it practically useless.

Oh well.

By now (after 7-9 years) there must be enough layers on it for me to actually peel some of it off before pasting in a new layer, but that'd be effort - so always moar duct tape
