I removed the ear clips and added some crazy glue and a small piece of velcro to the backside. They fit perfectly inside my motorcycle helmet, between the softshell and the hardshell. I can hear audio just fine, but still hear engine and road noise.

Very. I should have ran some benchmarks before and after to get some numbers, though.. Bad Company 2 used to drop in the 20's-30's when playing online and now the only time I've had it choke up is with max FSAA (which I didn't run before) in 1080P (before was 1680x1050) while zooming in on a crapload of smoke, which I also probably didn't do before. Crysis Warhead with everything on Enthusiast is in the high 20's with max FSAA, or mid-30's with FSAA off. I am now running with it off...IMHO it's not needed at 1920x1080 on a 23" screen. Jaggies also don't bother me as much as some people (though playing games on a 360 on my 42", it does get annoying).

Nice, thanks for responding. When I upgraded to a 5870 it was at the same time I upgraded my PC, so I went from Q6600 + GTX260 -> i7 920 + 5780. Made it difficult to tell how much of the performance boost was purely due to GPU.

I'd bet that most of it was GPU. A Q6600 should still run pretty much anything, especially if it was overclocked.

Its cause they are shiny and new. They are made of pleather. Give them a few matches and I'm sure they will fade a bit.

Got some new headkicker shoes for work so I wouldn't just keep wearing Converse sneakers or Rocketdog slipons to the office every day.

Also this finally arrived from China [any local vendor I found it was over a hundred bucks].

It's a Ceton InfiniTV 4. It basically substitutes your PC for your TV-top DVR. A cable subscription is still required, but it eliminates the stupid features and limitations of many DVRs offered by the cable companies.
