I mean, do you seriously think someone incapable of listening to 20-30 tracks a day even? Jesus, I watched the first 5 seasons of The Sopranos in less than a week. It's really not that hard as long as you don't spend all of your time sniffing paint fumes and jacking off into a sock.

You spent more than 7 hours a day watching TV? You'd probably be better off jacking into a sock.

Watching The Sopranos (huge difference to watching just any TV) for 7 hours versus jacking into a sock for that duration...I think you're just really bad at appreciating quality television. Besides, if he does that and gets the show "out of the way" in under a week, he'll have plenty of time for jacking into your mom's socks the week after that.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

I've seen all the Sopranos but it took me months to watch em. That's probably why so many people ask him if he's actually watched his "mid hundreds' DVD collection, they don't see how someone has that much free time.

And don't say stupid **** like "jack off into your mom's socks". It's not funny nor clever.

The problem is that what you're saying is stupid. It's stupid because finding the free time to do ANYTHING is just a question of managing said time. Maybe he was unemployed at the time. Maybe he didn't go out with friends. Under specific circumstances, squeezing in 7 hours OR MORE to do something is not that hard.

MAYBE he was unemployed, but I WAS. I understand it's easy to set aside 7+ hours a day to do something, but doing it to watch TV regardless of quality just seems a little extreme to me.

But of course it is his time and he can do what he wants with it.

I was originally going to not include "socks" to make it even stupider, but opted out of it.

Well there's no disagreement here then.

Haha, Mackie. Ever since they moved their production from WA to Chinamanland, their quality has been sketchy.

Hopefully you got a good one.

It's gotten a lot better since the initial move. Still not quite the same as before, but definitely on par with any of the better brands made overseas.

You apparently don't know anything about classic cars.
  1. The exterior is terrible. It looks like it was painted, unprimed, with spray cans.
  2. The interior is pretty bad too.
  3. The frame is perfect. No rust, no broken parts.
  4. The fiberglass body is perfect. No cracks, no broken or missing pieces.
  5. The engine is perfect. Runs like a champ. Drove it home 115 miles on the day I bought it with no problems. Took it to a Dyno Shop to get a once over, and they said it was the best engine in that age range they have ever seen.
  6. Mechanically and structurally the car is perfect. Engine needs no work (other than cosmetics), the transmission (Muncie 4 speed) shifts easily and quietly, and the chassis and suspension are in great shape.
  7. Note that the odomoter only goes up to 99,999 miles. The car actually has 132,000 miles.
  8. The car is 42 years old. The leather interior is 42 years old. The engine is 42 years old. The chrome is 42 years old. The transmission is 42 years old. Everything is original (except the carb, which I put on, though I have the original). It's in surprisingly amazing condition for being 42 years old.

tl;dr - if you don't know what you're talking about, don't say anything

I don't understand what a mentant would need an ipad for.
2010-04-21, 7:38 PM #1417
It is by iPad alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the juice of sapho that thoughts acquire speed, the lips acquire stains, the stains become a warning. It is by iPad alone I set my mind in motion.
? :)

I must not iPad. iPad is the mind-killer. iPad is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
